  • Animatronics
    • The animatronic robots can be programmed to speak and move.
  • Audio Engineering
    • Used for voice acting, sound effect creation, foley work and more!
  • Brother Innovis Pacesetter PS500 Sewing Machine
    • The Brother Innovis is a computerized sewing machine, perfect for all sewing needs. This machine is multi-use, it can create more than just clothing and has over 800 different stitch patterns available. Lanyards, personalized hats and other items can be transferred to the embroidery machine for additional personalization.
  • Brother Scan N Cut
    • This machine has 1,435 total built-in designs, including 140 quilt patterns, 17 lettering fonts, and 152 built-in Disney designs to create fun projects featuring a host of Disney characters. This machine can scan items up to 3 mm thick -handmade drawings, a child’s handwriting, cherished photos, and more- to create virtually endless design patterns that you can use. This machine can cut materials such as paper, fabric, vinyl, foam, balsa wood, and felt effortlessly.
  • DMX Lighting Rig
    • This is the same system seen on professional stages and theaters around the world to create light shows.
  • Embroidery Machine
    • This machine sews complex patterns with various threads. It is the same machine used by Disneyland to add names onto Mickey hats. This machine can embroider up to 10 colors on a logo. Embroider on bags, shirts, wallets, beanies, letterman jackets and more!
  • Formech Vacuum Former
    • This machine creates plastic replicas by stretching plastic. It is used for rapid mold reproductions in place of 3D printing for varying purposes. 
  • F123 Series- FDM 3D Printer (Stratasys F170) and Makerbot Method X 3D Printer
    • 3D printing is the construction of a three-dimensional object from a CAD model or a digital 3D model. It can be done in a variety of processes in which material is deposited, joined or solidified under computer control, with the material being added together, typically layer by layer.
  • Heat Press
    • This machine is designated to add images onto flat objects. The heat press can also press onto cylindrical objects such as tumblers and mugs. An additional attachment can press onto hats.
  • Milling Machine
    • A milling machine removes material from a work piece by rotating a cutting tool and moving it into the work piece. Milling machines are used on flat and irregularly shaped surfaces and can be used to drill, bore, and cut gears, threads, and slots.
  • Motorized Green Screen
    • Intended use for videos, photos, and different backgrounds for animatronic shows.
  • Roland BN-20
    • This machine can print and cut on a huge range of vinyl, films, and media. Create heat transfer designs, logos, and artwork to personalize t-shirts, jerseys, gym bags, aprons, hoodies and so many more fabric projects. Print and cut on a range of adhesive media to produce car wraps, logo stickers, product labels, and a myriad of high-quality die-cut products. Produce everything from promotional signs, displays, and window graphics to custom posters and wall art. 
  • Trotec Laser Cutter
    • This machine can laser cut materials such as wood, acrylic, paper, textiles, and more. It can also laser engrave text, patterns, images, logos, and more into materials.

Does my child need to come to the program everyday?

No, each class in the week will go over the same machine and project. Participants only need to come to one class per week.

Is there a waiting list?
Space is limited to ensure the safety of the participants. Individuals who are unable to register may check in with the instructor 5 minutes after the class has begun for availability.

Can parents/guardians remain in the Animaker Space during the program?
Parents/guardians may stay with their children in the Animaker Space or remain in the library until the end of the program. For safety purposes, the parents/guardians will need to provide their name and contact information.

Whose name should be used to register?
The participant’s name should be used when acquiring a ticket for the class.

Is an individual order required for each participant?

You may order multiple tickets in one order. A ticket is required for each participant. Parents do not require a ticket.

Can the Animaker Space be used to make personal projects?

Currently, the Animaker Space is only available for set library programs and projects.

My child is under the age of 8, may they still attend the Animaker Space programs?

For safety reasons, we ask that only children ages 8 and up attend our programs. Please see our calendar of events for programs that younger children can enjoy.
