For centuries, people have looked to the stars to tell stories of love, devotion, sacrifice, and destiny. During Galaxy Nights, guests will journey through some of the most captivating celestial romances visible in the night sky.Meet the “Valentine’s Star”
One of the evening’s featured celestial sights is Betelgeuse, the brilliant red giant star located in Orion’s shoulder. Known by many astronomy enthusiasts as the “Valentine’s Star,” Betelgeuse captivates observers with its warm crimson glow and striking appearance during the winter night sky. Through guided stargazing experiences hosted by HiDAS, guests will have the opportunity to view Betelgeuse and other celestial wonders through telescopes while learning about their significance and scientific importance.
