Good Deeds, Great Reads

The Muscoy Branch Library celebrated the launch of its Good Deeds Book Vending Machine on April 8, 2026, continuing the San Bernardino County Library’s commitment to inspiring young readers through innovative literacy experiences.

Through the program, children are rewarded for positive participation in library programs with opportunities to select a free book to keep. Each book gives young readers another opportunity to grow their personal collections while building excitement around reading and learning.

By connecting positive choices with the joy of book ownership, the program creates rewarding library experiences that encourage children to keep reading, learning and discovering.
