How it Works:
The Library Book Vending Machine is a fun way to celebrate reading, learning, and positive behavior! Children can earn a gold book token by participating in eligible library activities and challenges. Once they’ve earned a token, they can redeem it at the Book Vending Machine and choose a free book to keep.
Children may earn book tokens by:
- Attending and participating in library programs
- Demonstrating positive library behavior, such as kindness, respect, and helping others
- Participating in special seasonal activities or library challenges
Book tokens are earned through participation, they cannot be purchased. Opportunities to earn tokens may vary by library location and program, so be sure to ask library staff about current challenges and upcoming events. Every book earned is another adventure waiting to begin. Visit your library, earn a token, and take home your next favorite book!
