This summer, join the San Bernardino County Library as we reward you for reading!
How does it work? Sign up for our Summer Reading Program! Check out books from the Library and read! Log your progress in your reading log and take a trip to the Library to pick up your reward. Don’t forget to visit us weekly to receive your rewards and enjoy our special programs throughout the summer.
Participating in this year’s summer program is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
- Register on Beanstack using your account or create one, and decide if you will be logging books, pages, or minutes read.
- Check out books from the Library and READ! Log your progress online, on Beanstack, by entering the book title, number of pages or minutes read, depending on what you chose.
- Earn a reward badge each week by reading at least the weekly minimum and logging the books, pages or minutes read. Come into the library to collect your rewards throughout the summer.
Don’t Stop There! Take the County Library Challenge and earn tickets for a grand prize opportunity drawing. How do you do this? It’s easy!
- Children and Teens: Earn a ticket and spin the prize wheel for a chance to win when you reach our countywide goal.
- Children’s Challenge: Log 45 books, 450 pages or 6 hours of reading
- Teen Challenge: Log 8 Books, 800 pages or 8 hours of reading
- Each branch will have an in-branch drawing for those who meet the challenge, in addition to the countywide grand prize drawings.
- ALL AGES: Receive a ticket for every 25 books you check out during the summer. Your tickets will be entered into an opportunity drawing to win one of many awesome prizes.
