The San Bernardino County Library’s 2025 Summer Reading Program, themed A Tale of Enchantment, invites readers to join the fun with engaging activities and incentives. This program encourages lifelong reading habits through exciting events and opportunities to earn rewards. Participants can enjoy free summer fun while supporting their local library community.
How the Program Works:
Join the fun this summer with our all-ages Summer Reading Program! Everyone—from babies to adults—can participate and earn prizes for reading.
Start by registering through Beanstack, then visit your local library branch to pick up your registration materials. Based on your age, you’ll choose a reading goal: books, pages, or minutes. Once you select a tracking method, you’ll stick with it for the duration of the program.
Each week, read toward your goal and log your progress in Beanstack. Visit the library to claim a reward for your reading.
Readers ages 0–17 will each have their own individual grand goal to reach, based on the reading method they selected. Once they achieve their goal, they’ll get to spin the Grand Prize Wheel for a special prize and receive an opportunity ticket for the countywide grand prize drawing.
